I am feeling devastated about Maui today. Climat I am feeling devastated about Maui today. Climate change is about loss and grief. Vermont is grieving over the recent catastrophic flooding. Now Maui is grieving over fire. Croatia has been hit with multiple natural disasters this month. If it's not on fire or flooding, it's being blown over by wind. Some things that are destroyed are irreplaceable. Historic buildings, ancient trees, spiritual places. No one will get to appreciate them again the way they were. If you missed them, you're out of luck. I grieve for the things humanity is destroying with its hubris. . . . #climatechange #globalwarming #climatecrisis #climateemergency

Took the #SunRunner downtown this morning. Hoo boy Took the #SunRunner downtown this morning. Hoo boy, is it humid. 🥵 Had breakfast with a dear friend at Central Coffee Shoppe. Then to @flipcrepesandwaffles for a frozen coffee. Yum! I've been craving @pinwokbowl for a while, so I to I've been craving @pinwokbowl for a while, so I took the #SunRunner downtown for dinner. It was everything I was wanting... summer rolls, hot sake, amazing sushi. Afterward, I finally remembered there was a grocery store on the bus route, so I walked over to Publix and grabbed some essentials I needed. Taking the bus for errands makes me feel young. It gives me exercise, gets me away from my apartment, and lets me mingle with the masses. All things I want and need. Because of this, I passed some beautiful landscaping that was simply brimming with bees and butterflies.
