Coffee With Strangers is a series of stories about connecting with others and working toward being a better human. I’ve spent a lot of my life sitting on bar stools, talking to strangers, giving out free hugs and generally turning my life into one big social experiment. Read about my journey toward self awareness and self improvement and away from a boatload of anxiety. I invite you to participate in some of my social experiments if you’re able. I live in a two-story building that contains 19 studio apartments ranging from 200-400 square feet. The majority of the tenants are very young, lured by the inexpensive rent and proximity to downtown.
I have an uncanny ability to talk to anyone. From farmer to lawyer, from student to teacher, from mechanic to millionaire – I can have an interesting conversation with just about anyone.
