Different forms of violence are treated differentl Different forms of violence are treated differently in this country, as we've clearly seen. When the CEO of United Healthcare commits administrative violence that kills or harms tens of thousands of people, he is rewarded with more money. But when #Luigi murders him, he's arrested and treated like a supervillain. It's like Backwards World.Big companies exercise financial violence on us all the time that results in homelessness, poverty, and death. Yet, that is seen as an acceptable side effect of capitalism. Poor people are villanized instead of the people who make them poor.There is another way, though, and that is all of us recognizing we're on the same side of this class war and fighting like hell to take power away from billionaires and the politicians who cater to them.#billionaires #capitalism #anticapitalist
One of my simple pleasures in life is tea. I bough One of my simple pleasures in life is tea. I bought some Little Red Cup tea last year in a tea-buying frenzy and didn't even try it until this year. Holy crap. I am addicted to this tea.Puerh has been my favorite tea for years because of its elevated levels of caffeine and antioxidants. It's part of my migraine cure cocktail for this reason.I buy boxes of 100 teabags! That's how much I don't want to run out of it.This loose-leaf version is otherworldly. Shown is a one-pound bag of this deliciousness! I giggle that it says to steep it for 3 minutes. I steep this for 15 minutes (as I do all puerh), and it's like a rich, creamy cup of coffee.
