Downtown Rutland tradeshow

I’m so thankful to Vermont Environmental Consortium for holding their fall tradeshow in downtown Rutland!  What an awesome decision.  The show was held in the Opera House space formerly occupied by GMP’s Energy Innovation Center.  Vendor spaces for the tradeshow sold out, and a great crowd of people showed up for the event.

I was very happy to be working at the registration table as I was able to meet and greet everyone who came to the show.  I saw some friendly, familiar faces like Dave Bonta of USA Solar Stores, Mary Lamson of Neighborworks and Tara Kelley with RAFFL.  I also met some interesting new folks, like Matthew Lutz of Norwich University, Kristopher Jolin with Campaign for Vermont, and Lars Hasselblad Torres with the Office of the Creative Economy.

Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin

Our lunch spot was Three Tomatoes, where we got to hear from Governor Shumlin while we ate.

Then to the Energy Innovation Center for a mixer after the tradeshow ended.  Have you seen this cow?  She talks.
